About the Sales Representative Candidate
As a Sales Representative focused on the Addiction and Treatment Market, you will be the tip of the spear in identifying, qualifying, managing and closing the sales process for the thousands of addiction and treatment facilities across the US who represent the front line in addressing substance abuse disorder and especially the opioid epidemic. You will be a passionate advocate for Shadowbox and be able to articulate how our technical solutions, starting with our Prescription Drug Management Database automation solutions, provides incredible value to organizations such that they can focus on saving lives, not on typing and clicking. With success, you will begin to grow your team with the single objective of absolutely delighting your customers such that Shadowbox takes its rightful place as the premier supplier of integration and automation services for this market. In this role, you will also be a voice of the customer, helping identify new opportunities to grow your business with existing customers while you expand your portfolio. Responsibilities

  • Pre-Sales: Introductions, demonstrations, meetings, and other communications designed to educate the potential customer on the value proposition, features/functions and evaluate prospects for the best use case for the Shadowbox platform.
  • Contracting support: Identifying EMR census, potential services, custom development, key personnel, customer-side technology platform (ie. LIMS system), etc. to provide maximum value for customers and Shadowbox.
  • Implementation: Support customer implementation, distribution, training, etc. as required to maximize Shadowbox penetration and revenue per customer.

More specifically, you will:

  • Create sales goals in coordination with our Head of Sales, and institute a clear plan for making or exceeding these goals while respecting expense budgets, and improving when goals are missed
  • Establish new business by leveraging existing personal contacts, cold calling, networking, and following up on leads
  • Develop customer loyalty by building strong sustainable relationships during the sales process
  • Provide regular updates to the Head of Sales on prospects, pipeline, and monthly volume forecasts
  • Work actively with Customer Success Team to ensure customer expectations are met during the entire engagement process
  • Gather competitor intelligence from the territory and provide information to manager and corporate executive team
  • Adhere to all compliance (ie. HIPAA) and confidentiality requirements

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) from four-year college or university
  • 3-5 years of experience in SaaS Healthcare sales within the Addiction and Treatment market
  • Demonstrated track record of continued progressive sales growth
  • Sales performance ranking within top ten percent of salesforce
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships
  • Strong, creative and effective cold calling skills
  • Obsessive organizational skills and prior experience managing a large geographic territory
  • Commitment to aggressive volume growth curve

About the VP of Engineering Candidate
As the VP of Engineering, you will oversee all aspects of the engineering, QA, and project management organizations. Working with sales and product managers who will outline the requirements for customer success, you will ensure on time delivery of robust software and increased velocity from best practices including team organization and growth, clear communication, and inspirational management. You will own hiring to strategically grow your team to meet the demands from a growing sales pipeline and a goal of taking our technology to many more industries. You will be a voice of technical and management expertise on the executive team. You have proficiency organizing teams across multiple continents and time zones.

Responsibilities

  • Organize, mentor, and grow your team to match pace with our growing sales pipeline and new company goals
  • Ensure on time, robust, and intuitive software delivery to every customer
    Enact best practices across your team, including clear communication, agile development, automation, and documentation
  • Create a plan to develop software to reduce all manual processes involved with onboarding new customers and expanding to new industries
  • Create goals for your team, and institute a clear plan for rewarding your team for making or exceeding their goals, and improving when goals are missed

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience leading engineering teams
  • Experience with the latest methods for software development, including any of: Jobs to be Done, Agile Development, Lean Startup Method, SVPG pod organization strategy, Peer programming, or others you can’t wait to tell us about. The point is not that you adopt our plan, but that you convince us yours is the best one.
  • Experience with latest front end development frameworks like AngularJS, ReactJS, Backbone, Vue.js, Sass, Ember JS, and Npm.
  • Experience managing teams across multiple time zones

About the Customer Success Manager Candidate

As the Customer Success Manager, you will ensure the successful implementation, support, and maintenance of customer/Shadowbox relationship to maximize customer retention, satisfaction, and product distribution/utilization.  You will use your skills to develop a keen understanding of the needs of the customer and serve as customer advocate with internal teams to ensure best prioritization of resources and execution of customer facing solutions.  You will dazzle customers regarding all aspects of their experience to reduce friction and to solicit constructive feedback that ensures customer retention through technology evolution(s).  You will be part of a rapidly growing team and must be flexible and adaptable as part of a startup.  You will be rewarded for your success.

Responsibilities
Manage customer onboarding process in concert with internal Customer/Product leader. Specifically,

  • Provide ongoing project updates during the development process
  • Schedule customer Shadowbox platform sales and installation training
  • Review and distribute co-marketing material
  • Obtain pilot site information, execution of any required site-specific documentation, and schedule initial site install/test and feedback period.
  • Schedule and implement new locations once the initial pilot has completed.
  • Schedule customer portal training
  • Create user accounts, manage customer portal, and prepare/manage/schedule/implement hand-off of customer portal to customer
  • Prepare per customer/aggregate reports to internal Customer/Product leader

Maintain an ongoing relationship with assigned customers. This includes:

  • Regular meetings with key customer contacts to review current processes, provide updates on upcoming releases, determine if new business opportunities exist and discuss ideas/options for improving existing services
  • Provide ongoing product education to customers as needed
  • Serve as Customer advocate for internal discussions to resolve any technical issues and product improvements to meet client demands
  • Serve as primary implementer of Customer-site updates/implementations at the direction of internal Customer/Product leader

Provide first tier customer technical support. Specifically,

  • Diagnose active issues
  • Review issues against checklist of potential/known requirements such as hardware, network, or practice management software updates
  • Write support tickets for the Development Team
  • Provide consistent and committed communication with Customers regarding solutions, timelines, and workarounds
  • Escalate and pursue solutions once determined
  • Affect excellent customer support via the appropriate communication medium.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of B2B customer & technical support experience
  • Experience in healthcare and related compliance requirements (ie. HIPAA), and specifically diagnostic laboratories or other healthcare ancillary service providers
  • Demonstrated success in achieving client satisfaction through keeping customer commitments and resolving customer issues
  • Must be detail oriented, have the ability to multi-task, meet tight deadlines and operate with minimal supervision
  • Strong presentation and project management skills
  • Ability to verbally educate and effectively convey knowledge on product use and process
  • Strong customer service ethos
  • Must be a natural problem solver & critical thinker
  • Experience with JIRA, Redmine and Confluence a plus
  • Participation in the development and improvement of processes
